Register now for PUDDLE 2013

PUDDLE is only four months away! It's on June 15 at the Chicago-Elk Grove Holiday Inn.

If you planning on attending and have not yet registered, please do (even if you aren't ready to pay right now). It really helps with planning if I have an idea of how many people are attending. Thanks! Registration info here: www.puddlestyle.com/register.html

Also, if you are attending, please think about ways you can help make PUDDLE a success! One of the reasons Blythe conventions are so great is that many attendees donate items to other fans. If you can knit, sew, create, or make items you think other Pullip fans would like, please consider doing so. Donations of any amount - 1, 10, or 50 - will be happily accepted, as will mini chocolates to put out on the tables, or small items you buy for the gift bags. Be on the lookout for great doll-sized clearance items. Thanks!

The 2013 Pullip and Dal Doll Lovers Event is only five months away! It will take place on June 15 at the Holiday Inn Chicago-Elk Grove. To help us in planning the event, please register and pay as soon as you know you will be attending.

To register, send me the following information plus $16 per person. The fee includes a gift bag. While not refundable, it will carry over to the next PUDDLE if you have to cancel. The paypal address is jane underscore easterly at hotmail dot com.

• Your name
• The names of others in your party, if any
• Where you are coming from (City, State, or Country) and approximately how many miles you will be travelling one way
• Your email address
• Whether you think you will be staying at the convention hotel
• Whether you will be selling things as a vendor.
• Other information you'd like to pass on, or any questions

You can also make your convention hotel reservations at any time by following this link:

Last year we were lucky enough to have Yosuke Oba at the event representing GROOVE, selliing nude dolls and displaying prototypes of the upcoming Steampunk dolls. I don't know for sure whether he'll be there this year, but I'm hoping!

PUDDLE 2012 in Winter 2012 FDQ

There is a long article about PUDDLE 2012 in the Winter 2012 issue of Fashion Doll Quarterly (FDQ). It mentions contest winners by name and links to our many great sponsors. I've attached a scan, but look for and buy print copies in your local doll or bookstore!

Meet Alba!

Meet Alba, an Henri kindly donated to PUDDLE by Hina ichigo (also known as pullip_junk). The gorgeous kimono she wears was made and donated by Keelyvh. (Keely also made the casual dress worn by my Dal Puddle, the event mascot.)

Alba will be raffled off at next year's event to raise money for charity. A big thank you to Hina ichigo and Keelyvh!

PUDDLE in the November 2012 Doll Collector

There's a great story on the 2012 Pullip and Dal Doll Lovers Event in the November 2012 Doll Collector. Be sure to buy a copy! We need to support doll magazines. If you don't live near a bookstore, you can order a copy online. http://scottpublications.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/1131

Note that a couple photos spilled over into the event on the previous page.
